The good old 12" black circle is still well and truly alive. While today is all about the digital edition there is still a market for the good old classic vinyl pressing. If you take a look at the number of techno tracks on the format release each week you would have thought no other format existed. Well, maybe an exaggeration but for the record collector the 12" is still very much an essential part of the musical diet.
Moby is a guy who things so to and haves commissioned a re-press of two of his best selling artist albums, ‘Play’ and ‘18’. ‘Play’ was indeed one of the biggest selling albums of all time! The re-releases have been limited to only 500 copies each and are only available from the Moby store.
