© BedrockIt’s another belter of a release on Bedrock with Josh Wink & Simon Vuarambon dropping a two track EP called ‘Metro’…

Josh Wink and Simon Vuarambon team up on “Metro,” released today as part of the two-track Metro / Grey Area package on Bedrock Records.

On the A-side, Vuarambon reworks Wink’s “Metro,” pulling the track toward the deeper progressive sound that has defined his recent releases. It spent the summer in sets, building interest before today’s release.

The B-side is Vuarambon’s “Grey Area,” a solo track that has also drawn attention on the dance floor. Both tracks unfold at their own pace, making the release a natural fit for Bedrock.

The record is available digitally and was also pressed as a limited 12-inch edition of 325 copies, which has already sold out through the Bedrock store. The vinyl features “Metro” on the A-side and “Grey Area” on the B-side.

For Wink, “Metro” continues a busy stretch of new music. It follows his recent remix of Chris Liebing’s “Eye C” for CLR and his Ovum Recordings single “Futurama,” which grew from a rediscovered recording of his first Los Angeles performance in 1994. While the records move through different corners of house and techno, each reflects the open-ended approach that has shaped his work for more than three decades.

Wink has never stayed within one category. His catalog includes “Higher State of Consciousness,” “Don’t Laugh,” “I’m Ready,” and “Stay Out All Night,” while his remix work spans Radiohead, Moby, Depeche Mode, Radio Slave, and Dave Clarke. Ovum Recordings remains his home base for new music and artists he believes in.

Vuarambon is a Swiss producer based in Buenos Aires whose recent work has appeared on Bedrock, Global Underground, and Guy J’s Early Morning label. His track “Stamina” reached No. 1 on Beatport’s Progressive House chart.
