Novaline Feat. Lisa Rose - Run Away [Agenda Music]

Here is the latest vocal flavoured trance release from relatively new Scandinavian label Agenda Music. Novaline is a young Swede with a talent and passion for trance of the uplifting kind and has put those skills to good use…

You might not have heard much about Agenda music so here’s a little just to fill you in. It is the record label of one half of Einar K and Lemon who you might know as they have been involved in the scene for a few years now and brought us records like ‘Hold Me Know’ and ‘Anticipation’. The latter you might recognise as being the track RAM ripped off for his ‘RAMsterdam’ last year. Einar K is the one half who set up and runs this brand new label based in Norway which is to focus on the finest electronic dance music he can get his hands on. There first release came from a guy called Van Dresen in the form of ‘Back To Start’ and have also had a release under their familiar Lemon & Einar K collaboration with ‘The Oslo Syndrome’. Their latest release comes from another fellow Scandinavian in the form for Novaline.

Einar K discovered Novaline by looking on MySpace and as his first release on the label demonstrates he was very impressed with his talents. He’s from Sweden, Stockholm to be precise and for first debut release on the label has enlisted the vocal talents of Lisa Rose. The Original Mix is a delighting vocal trance production with the female vocals providing a nice hook with the track. Its beats soft to the ear but smooth flowing with a floating lead bass chord driving the track forward and subtle piano keys hinting at the euphoric melody that will erupt on the main break. The build in the break is driving by the vocal and sweetly drifted in keys, which altogether seems bright and energetic. A quite tidy synth driven melody partnered with uplifting keys drive the main heart of the track and the type of sound it creates it’s easy to see why this has been slipping in the CD wallets of Solarstone and Daniel Kandi.

Of course, vocals may not be your thing and you are well catered for here with the inclusion of the Dub mix which has a slight twist to it over the original. The vocal is long gone and there are slight changes in the lead on the build up. The mood is shifted into a slightly more uplifting pace with rich percussion and flowing chords layered on top of each other. You could have got away with just a vocal bare original but the slight touches adding into this dub really make it something special.

Conclusion:
The team behind Agenda Music really know what they are on about and it’s a label that I'm sure will be pushing out more quality music over the course of this year. 'Run Away' from Novaline is just the start and a very uplifting one at that.
