1) Pandora (Original Mix)
'Pandora' is awash with meaty sounds and a flowing progression means it'll keep you interested right from the early stages. The basis of this track though is its melody. It's actually built from a slow chord progression rather than a lead and this makes it so much more emotional. The resulting slow, lamenting melody is highly uplifting and the percussion behind it is the perfect driver for what is a very balanced track which is a pleasure to listen to.
2) Pandora (Daniel Kandi's Emotional Remix)
Daniel Kandi's 'Emotional' Remix sees the percussion toughened up and the backing of the track more energised. There's a sweet layer of backing synth which is thick and so dreamy - this makes the initial stages of the track even better than before. The melody comes in again during the breakdown but with extended beauty this time. Orchestral strings start things off, but then a clean and clear electric guitar takes the lead with the same melody. The combination of sounds is spine-tingling and it certainly feels very emotional indeed. As the guitar soars off into the stratosphere and the chords kick back in, you can't help but want to hear this quality track right out there on the dance floor. Kandi stamps his authority down once more.
3) Pandora (Eddie Sender Remix)
Eddie Sender, usually known for his massively energetic trance takes a slightly different approach. A gutsy bassline has been implemented and backing synths which are think like fog really fill the track up. Some massive trance synths are used to power the melody - they sound overstated to begin with but eventually meld into something more subtle after the breakdown is over. All of this crisp synthwork gives this remix a wickedly smooth and icy feel.
Conclusion:
A great track solidly backed up by some seriously excellent remixes. Check out Kandi's effort if nothing else!
