Type puts in a great remix of this track from two new artists, Vira & Aerium...
:: Vira & Aerium - Anastacia (Type Remix) :: Real Legacy Records :: RLR006
Anastacia (Type Remix) This remix actually starts of in a deceptively progressive fashion. It is seriously deep and calm. There's a growth of pads which expand the track, making it exceedingly pleasant and soft. Then from pretty much out of nowhere, a melody arises from this sea of sonic goodness. It is delicate, echoed to perfection giving it just the right weight and backed up by subtle chord changes.
The whole thing is pretty much a demonstration of how an uncomplicated melody can rule a track without the need to overpower or add unnecessary complexity. It is very more-ish and doesn't get tired at all. In fact, after many listens, it's still a shame when this one reaches its wind down stages towards the end.
Conclusion:
A wicked remix out of nowhere from Type. More and more talent is emerging on the spread of Real Legacy labels, so keep an eye on them!
