 One of Simon Patterson’s most treasure trance tunes will be getting a physical release for the first time following a fresh remix 12 years on by Blashear of his track called ‘US’…
This has to be one of my favourite Simon Patterson tracks of all time and one which really put a stamp on him being one of the trance scenes most talented producers. We are talking about his 2012 record ‘US’ which was released digitally and never had a Vinyl or single release. During that time the Vinyl format was pretty much on its arse with nobody buying it and everyone jumping big on the digital revolution.
Things have come a long way in 12 years and people are buying Vinyl again which is why VII are releasing a 12 year old track with a new remix from Blashear on the format. Two single release with full length mixes on both, which gets the nod of approval from me. The new remix from techno man Blashear has been out for a little while and is pretty good one. Nothing can take away the uplifting drive of the original and those chords which are just something else. It was Simon’s signature sound around that time and I’m sure every trance fan will want to get their hands on this release.
I’d recommend getting in on the action early as this is a one limited edition press run never to be pressed again. Hopefully, this is the start of more Vinyl releases to come as its great to see music never released on the format finally get an outing on it.
