© Global Underground One of the longest running dance music compilations will see another new release this week with the city series from Global Underground having a fresh face on the mix for 46 with ANNAâ€¦

There has been many a good compilation series over the years bite the dust after a few volumes. There are a few though who continue to push up the numbers. Global Underground is dance organization who has released a fair few mix compilations over the decades and their flagship is the city series. Each compilation takes an artist, a venue and picks out their favourite records with the city as a backdrop for their inspiration. The list of quality artists to have had the pleasure of mixing one of these compilations goes past the finger counting stage with just a few names to mention like Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed and Sasha.

There are a new breed of producers and artists on the scene these days and it’s to one such fresh talent the 46^th edition gets a good seeing to by. The Brazilian DJ and producer ANNA takes charge of the latest mix with the backdrop of Lisbon feeding her inspiration for the two disc journey through a variety of dance music styles. There are a few formats to choose from with the new release with a two disc CD and limited triple coloured Vinyl featuring the pick of the tracks from the two mixes. For those serious collectors there is a special collector’s box set which has the Vinyl and CD included along with some cool exclusive merchandise.
