© AnjunabeatsIt's time to check out some stunning new music from Tom Middleton and Sienna as they unearth a 2016 gem 'YNTOO' alongside 'Olympic' released on Anjunadeep Explorations...

Electronic music pioneer Tom Middleton joins forces with the elusive Sienna (aka Richard Gwinnett) to release the long-awaited ‘YNTOO / Olympic’ - available August 27 via Anjunadeep Explorations. A fan-favorite track that first surfaced on Anjunadeep 08 back in 2016, ‘YNTOO’ is finally given its proper spotlight, accompanied by a previously unheard ‘92 Mix and a thunderous new remix from UK bass mainstay Scuba.

Middleton, best known as one half of the influential duo Global Communication (alongside Mark Pritchard), has remained a defining voice in ambient and electronic music since the early '90s. With landmark releases like 76:14, collaborations with Aphex Twin, and remixes for legends like Depeche Mode and Crazy P, Middleton has long occupied a space at the intersection of experimentation and timelessness. His 2001 BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix remains a reference point in the genre, while more recent work - such as the critically praised wellness LP Sleep Better - shows his ever-evolving creative compass.

YNTOO’ began life as a Sienna original, remixed by Middleton for the Anjunadeep compilation, where it quickly earned underground acclaim. Now, nearly a decade later, the track emerges in full form. The release includes the original version by Sienna, Middleton’s archival ‘92 Mix - a hypnotic and euphoric rework that feels both nostalgic and future-facing - and a powerful remix by Scuba, founder of Hotflush Recordings and a key figure behind the legendary SUB:STANCE nights at Berlin’s Berghain.

Scuba’s interpretation brings a darker, brooding intensity to ‘YNTOO’, bridging the generational gap between UK rave heritage and Berlin’s minimal techno era. Known for six studio albums, remixes for Rudimental and John Newman, and a recent release on Sasha’s Last Night On Earth label, Scuba continues to innovate through both his productions and his Not A Diving podcast, where Middleton recently appeared as a guest.

YNTOO / Olympic’ is more than just a single - it’s a meeting point of visionary minds. It reflects the story of a track that’s quietly lived in the hearts of fans for years, now reborn with fresh energy and purpose. Out now on all major platforms, with a special focus on the never-before-heard ‘92 Mix, this release is set to resonate deeply with electronic music lovers across generations.
