Paul van Dyk is back with a brand new single and for fans of this trance icon its one which is not going to disappoint. This is touched by Heaven…

I’ve been really impressed with Paul van Dyk over the past year since he fell off the state at one of Armin’s ‘A State of Trance’ events. It was a very serious fall which left him out of action for quite a few weeks. He fought through and is now fully recovered and back to doing what he does best, playing and creating the finest electronic dance music on the planet. This is one of his first solo singles for a while, no vocals, no collaborations just Paul with the beats.

:: Extended Mix
:: Radio Edit

There is one thing which makes a Paul van Dyk track for me and that’s a banging beat. Over the years his production sound has evolved and changed a bit. The world of trance and uplifting are two influences on his music which will never burn out. Paul knows how to deliver very good trance and what we have with his new single is just that. This is a solid bang from the start and just the kind of tempo you want from a Paul track. This has really got a driving bass line; it’s like an evolving ripple which buzzes though the track at the start. It’s not long before that leads into a deeply uplifting string which takes over as everything else fades out. You’re full on in the melody here and it is as uplifting and powerful as they come. When things all come together this is a track which will have you punching the air!

Conclusion:
This is one of Paul’s finest releases over the past few years. No added extras to be had in here, no vocals just Paul with a banging beat and a very uplifting melody. These beats come highly recommended!
