Silk Music has been gathering a head of steam for a few years now with one quality releasing following another. The label is spearheaded by Jacob Henry who has built it from scratch and attracted a very talented team of artists to help him bring some of the most refreshing electronic dance music the scene has to offer. The style sits a little in-between house and trance with gorgeous melodies one of the main draws of the music the label pushes out. Its not just the progressive sound they pump out, they also have something for those chill out moments with their chilled off shoot label Silk Sofa.
There annual compilation is exactly what it’s called, a showcase of their most treasure new beats to come from some established and some new upcoming producers. The fourth edition has a nice sprinkle of 30 tracks for you to get stuck into from the likes of Eleven.five, LTN, Schodt, Thomas Hayes, Blugazer and Mango.
