Its time for something a little bit uplifting on the fresh faced Breathe Music label with a double team from label regulars Kay Stone & Dark Moon who bring you a very tidy little track called 'Last Moonlight' with Suncatcher on the remix...
The uplifting side of trance is still well and truly kicking amongst all the psy influence that is getting the headlines in recent months. One label which are well known for their euphoric offerings are the Breathe Music label run by Tino Hufeld. Tino is no stranger to trance as he’s been releasing records for well over a decade, most commonly under his Dark Moon alias. It’s that alias that he teams up with fellow label artist Kay Stone for a two track release of very uplifting proportions, supported by a remix from Suncatcher, otherwise know as Bogdan Marian Cupcea.

:: Original Mix :: Suncatcher Remix
This is by no means the first time Kay Stone has released a record on the Breathe label as he has been doing so since 2005. This is the first time he's joined creative forces with Dark Moon on a release, which is a long time overdue going by the fine arrangement they have put together in 'Last Moonlight'. It’s a very blissful, soft and bass line driven trance affair with some tidy effects along the way. It’s not long into the track that you get some very uplifting key changes and quite stunning chords. The main melody is the real gem in this pot of gold with gorgeous piano keys and a sweeping vocal that screams uplift.
The Suncatcher version of this uplifting original takes things up a few notches on the BPM scale. The track is noticeably faster and really plays on the chord changes to drive in the uplifting energy on the build up. Sweeping backdrops and piano chords with super use of the vocal really drive this one into the uplifting isle with some serious style. Suncatcher’s signature has always been driving euphoric trance and he’s come up trumps with this remix, it’s rather good.
Conclusion:
The perfect uplifting soundtrack for the summer sunshine from one of my favourite labels, they may not push out a new beat every week but when they do its worth the wait. Both tunes here are well into the uplifting category but for that extra lift the Suncatcher remix would be my pick from the two.
