It's another meeting of the musical minds of Fergie and Sadrian as they unleash their blend of underground tech trance on the Pharmacy label once again with a twin EP...

The Pharmacy music label welcomes back one its most talented duo's for its most recent release. The argentine pair of Fergie & Sadrian has been on the label before with 'Little Boy', released last year. Now, they are back with a twin EP with two tunes of full on underground trance that has been given the seal of approval by label boss Christopher Lawrence. The pair ore two of the scenes most talented new comers and with the backing of a name like Christopher Lawrence they are not just a bunch of hype, their music does the talking. This latest double EP should provide just the lift you need for those New Year blues.

:: Perlin
:: Mind Control

They have two different tunes to get your audio buds going with this EP. The first of which, ‘Perlin’ is one which Christopher Lawrence has been hammering in his sets of late to great reaction. It’s easy to see why with its punchy beat and rumbling bass line. It’s the beat which gains your interest with this from the start but you soon get engaged in the many layers floated on top of it. The way it builds up has a slight progressive edge but it’s cut up with two sweet little breaks, they don’t last long but build a little extra bite to things.

The second track to keep the senses on edge is ‘Mind Control’ which is a little more full on. The bassline lets rip from the start and continues all the way through the track to be the main lead that keeps you wanting more. The tech influence in here is very obvious with bouncy chord patterns and a tasty little melody that drifts along over the ripping bass line. It all leads into one very well constructed break, which gets cut just as things climax to go into a dark beat sequence and distorted vocal snippets.

Conclusion:
This is a very good way to kick off the year for Pharmacy Music and this very promising duo from Argentina. Pick your own favourite from these two as they both do the business for me!
