Hot new audio from Lange as he unearths his old alias LNG for his first solo production of 2011 with ‘Brandalism’…

Think back a few years and you might just remember an old track by Lange under his alias LNG called ‘Innercity’. That was the only track he released under it but after eight years he has brought LNG back, but if you thought it had any relation to its original birth think again. The LNG of 2011 will be one of Lange’s main focuses over the next few months delivering a twist on his production sound and hiding more creative mischief than a kindergarten class. You all know what a trance legend Lange is so no history lesson needed but with ‘Brandalism’ you might just discover Lange’s genre splitting diversity.

:: Brandalism

In simple terms, this new track from Lange is bonkers. You can sense that Lange flavour with the production but just approaching this as a new trance track will leave you very bemused. As the track title suggest, sliding this into a tidy pigeon hole is a tricky one. It’s bursting with bassey FX, punchy beats and crisp percussion. There is not really a main break or melody providing hands in the air mood but a constant onslaught of acid tipped rhythms and monotonic patterns. The main riff is layered with rich, soft undertones which explode with wet acid sweeps and a ripping electric bass line. You get the Lange flavour from the main riff that grips the track but on top of that you have what sounds to me like an 80’s computer game music fighting track. It’s all a bit mad if I’m honest but its seven minutes of enjoyable madness in a Lange style not many people would have expected.

Conclusion:
If the inside of Lange's mind is as crazy as this track it's a place you would want to party in every night! The Lange sound you all know and love has been whisked, blended, chopped and mangled up into this solo beauty. It’s LNG on acid and we like it!
