One of the biggest clubs in Ibiza Amnesia celebrates its 50th year in existence this year with the opening party kicking off on the 9th May…
Amnesia, Ibiza’s home of underground clubbing for 50 years, marks five decades of music, movement, and shared experience with a year of anniversary events, guest line ups, and cultural collaborations throughout 2026.
Ibiza Changed. We didn’t.
A landmark year for a true Ibiza institution, 2026 sees the club mark 50 years at the forefront of electronic music, beginning with the legendary opening party on Saturday 9th May, and a special edition of Pyramid on Friday 24th April during IMS.
It’s an anniversary that carries clear message – an invitation to dance from a club that has shaped lives, relationships, and careers. A place powered by a legacy that has defined dance culture across generations. Since 1976, Amnesia has remained a sanctuary for those who put the room before the image. A space built on music and atmosphere, and a lasting commitment to what matters.
With residencies, special guests, and anniversary editions of the club’s favourite nights still to be announced, the summer begins in earnest with Luciano and Sven Väth headlining a special edition of Pyramid on Friday 24th April, alongside Deborah De Luca, Shlomo, Saoirse, Clara Cuvé, CAAL, and Katnada.
A major moment for the island, this year’s opening party is set to be one for the record books. A showcase that represents Amnesia’s music-first approach, the Terrace will welcome Joseph Capriati, Josh Baker, Seth Troxler, Max Dean, Enzo Siragusa, Fleur Shore, Luke Dean, Ceri, CAAL, Marco Faraone, and Mar-T. In the Main Room, Amelie Lens, 999999999, Alan Fitzpatrick, Fatima Hajji, Luca Donzelli, and Luxi Villar.
Alongside clubbers and DJs from across the world, Amnesia will use this moment to celebrate not only the history it has helped write to date, but also the exciting future of nightlife as it continues to platform both established and emerging talent.
As a constant in the island’s ever-evolving landscape, Amnesia has remained focused on the room, the music, and the people inside it. Its legacy a defining proof that feeling lasts. Everything else fades as noise. A meeting point for scenes, cultures, and identities, history written in sound. Amnesia exists to be lost in. To disappear. To let go. The dancefloor as equal ground.
