The Underworld guys are going as strong as ever and with each passing year marks a milestone for their old classic bangers. One which I’d say they are most recognised for is the superb ‘Born Slippy’. They tag the brand ‘NUXX’ alongside this, I’m not sure what the meaning is I’ve not looked it up but that branding is all over the 30th anniversary gear coming this week.
They have a rather nice, although just a bit expensive, new jacket with the ‘NUXX’ branding on the back and a cool mini waveform on the front. There is a funky design on the inner material to and the jacket will come in a verity of sizes. It looks very nice, just a bit too much with a price tag of £250. I don’t know what mad man would pay that much for a jacket.
For something a little more within the price range and one for the music fan is a brand new Vinyl featuring two mixes of Born Slippy. One is a remastered 2025 edition from the guys and the second is a live recording from one of their shows this year. The artwork looks fabulous and this double side piece of musical history will cost you £29.99, a bit more affordable for the Underworld fan that has council tax to pay every month.
Not only those two new bits of merch and music there are also two dates for next year they guys will be performing at in the O2 Academy in Broxton. The dates will be the 6th & 7th February next year with the pre-sale going live on the 1st October. The link to get signed up to that are all below.
