Global tastemakers Dombresky and CHANEY reveal their highly anticipated collaboration "Running," a vibrant indie-dance anthem featuring the smooth vocals of Australian platinum-certified artist KLP. Releasing on August 1 through Insomniac Records, the single is a sunlit tribute to romantic obsession, vintage textures, and dance floor bliss.
Centered around a raw vocal performance from KLP, “Running” explores the emotional cycle of chasing a feeling you can’t quite let go of. As CHANEY explains, the creative spark was sparked by an a cappella KLP sent earlier this year - one that instantly unlocked a full sonic world in his mind. What started as a looped vocal and a bassline jam quickly grew into a textured, emotive track, layered with dreamy arps, soft guitar strums, lush synths, and harmonies soaked in nostalgia.
For Dombresky, the song’s creation felt like a moment of alignment: “Everything clicked—the timing, the vibe, the emotion—it all just landed exactly when it was supposed to,” he shares.
