Biography:
Pierre Hiver started in 1987 as a DJ in a club fit for around 1500 people. Mostly playing funk and soul. In 1993 he met Mike Schabinger with whom Pierre started to produce records. 1994 was a big moment, that’s when he opened his own record label called Voodoo Records. More then 30 records were released on this label.

Then it went quiet for about 4 years, he went back to school.

After his finals, he met his partner in crime: Mario Hammer, at the ‘DJ Meeting’ in Bochum, Germany. After that, he went with a friend, to meet Mario, and they ended up with 4 persons, agreeing that they would work together on the music, but fate decided that two of them should quit quite rapidly, so only Pierre Hiver & Mario Hammer were left.

And they have taken the music industry by storm, making 2001 their year, with a lot of remixes. And it seems that 2002 will be the same. I’m sure that their name will be in the almanac of ‘Best Remixers’.
