 It’s been a long time coming but the new artist collection from Alucard has arrived in the form of ‘Star Rider’…
You might sometimes forgot that Solarstone still has his Electronic Architecture label pumping out the tunes with all his Pure Trance stuff these days. But, the label has its last compilation release in 2021 and is well and truly still alive and kicking. One such artist who has been involved with the label over the years and has tracks featured over all the four compilations released to date is Alucard.
Now, I don’t know a lot about this hugely talented chap only what I can find in the brief biography on his Dicscogs. His real name is Peter McCowan and he’s originally from Canada. His musical storey began many decades ago and over the years he has releases some smashing solo producers and performed some lovely remixes. Now, I’m not sure if this new artist album release is the first he has done as a complete collection if you look at his releases over the past 10 years they have been quite sparse. Quality over quantity is never a bad thing.
The new album draws many influences from breaks to synthwave and features some gorgeous musical moments over the 10 tracks on offer. It’s available as a digital release for now but it would be nice to have a CD or even a Vinyl version of this to add to the collection.
