He's just released a superb collaboration with Christopher Lawrence a few weeks ago but Sean J Morris is just as talented at knocking out his own tracks without any aid. Here's his latest thumper on 405 Recordings...

Sean J Morris is one of the undergrounds most thriving producers feeding the scene with some speaker ripping trance at the moment. He’s just come off the back of a superb collaboration with the mighty Christopher Lawrence in ‘Rock it’, which it certainly did for us here at i:Vibes. His collaboration with Christopher is one I’m sure he had planned the moment he signed Sean to his very own Pharmacy label that he has remixed and released his own single EP ‘Biopsy’ on over the past few years. His latest solo offering is on the 405blue recordings label which focuses on trance as its main genre. It could not have picked a better artist for its latest release than Sean who’s on the rise right now. Proof of that is right here with two very different trance thumpers that should get the fist pumping away.

:: Redemption
:: Driver

Redemption is the first point of call through the speakers for me here and it’s full of pace right from the start. He feeds in the main beat to explode in full with an almighty roaring bass line. The very aggressive lead melody sets the tone for this one with the percussion crisp and clear. The first break comes with a rolling melody and hi toned leads before coming from the low end with a deep rolling bass line and explosive main melody that kicks off after a sweet little drum build. This is big room underground trance with a slight psy edge to the sound. Plenty of energy in here and a deep pounding thump from the kick drum to set things off.

You can hear the key change with Driver right from the off. He’s gone a little deeper with the sound for this one. This little beauty has a sticky psy edge to things but he’s got a technique to really lift things up with an explosive rolling bass line. The leading riff in here is super deep with texture and as the layers fall in and out you can’t help but be drawn in. The breakdown in here gets a little melodic at first but a rolling beat soon puts end to that leading to a seething main melody that’s robotically industrial in how it comes across. Just when you think the breaks down, it keeps coming back at you. It’s a very suitable title with this trance track’s driving bass lines and seething main kick drum. Just hear out for the little rolling melody on the lead and out as it’s a nice delicate touch on a very pounding track.

Conclusion:
This is pure proper trance one again from Sean who continues to impress with his creative flair at driving energy into his tracks. There is plenty of that here and if you love a deep chunky bass line, get your ears around these two!
