 The techno italian Mauro Picotto has been hard at it in the studio again and is nearly ready to release his brand new artist compilation. It's called Now and Then.
Mauro Picotto has been around for quite a few years and has many fine productions and albums that have captured many a dance fans eye. His Meganite club nights over in Ibiza have been very popular over the past few years and fast becoming one of the most attended nights on the Island. His productions are second to none and who can forget tracks like 'Komodo', 'Pulsar' and 'Awesome'.
From when I first started to know about his work his tracks were more on the trance side with big hooks but he has since shifted his focus to more techno edged tracks and ventured into the minimal sound with his music. Even thought his sound has changed he keeps coming up with fantastic tracks, superb club nights and top dollar DJ mixes. His last artist album came in the form of 'Superclub' which was a two CD release that got a warm welcome from dance fans.
His new album is called 'Now And Then' and as the name suggests its not a collection of past hits and current bangers. It is a collection of his new work with a few tracks I'm sure you may have heard already certainly if you have been attending his DJ gigs this year.
