Gigs
Niklas Harding continued his quest for UK dominance at Slinky at the end of last month, the Danish trancer had the dance floor pumping with an exceptional debut performance. His electro tinged trance set had the Slinky crowd captivated and set the tone perfectly for the main event... Ferry Corsten!
This month saw Niklas travel to the country's capital to play at two super powers of Trance: The Gallery and Gatecrasher.
The Gallery was up first on Friday 13th October, where the main room was hosted by Tall Paul and Sander Van Doorn, whilst Niklas took deckduty for Vaccine alongside Sean Tyas and Jochen Miller.
Niklas made a quick return to London the following Friday 20th October for Gatecrasher at Ministry of Sound. The main room was hosted in the name ofthe Classics with DJ's like M.I.K.E, Signum, Rank 1 and Guy Ornadel. Niklas performed a forward thinking set in the bar with Tylor Leigh and Matt Hardwick!
Catch Niklas making his debut in Scotland for Inside Out at Room at The Top, November the 4th accompanied by Mauro Picotto, Marcel Woods and Montana.
The Studio
Niklas Harding Pres. Arcane - Red Jewel was released on Armada on the 9th October, with a remix by US based Basic Perspective. Niklas Harding & Funabashi - Addictive, which is on Markus Schulzs newly released Ibiza 06 compilation hit into the #1 spot at the trance sales chart at beatport.com and was released on the a-side of the 2nd Ibiza 06' sampler. The good news doesn't stop there as the B side of Ice Beach is being hammered by none other than global Techno Don Carl Cox!
Niklas climbed up 30 places in the TranceAddict forum poll, to the #68 and ended #12 in the UKTA forum votings. A big thanks to those who voted at these polls and at this years djmag.
