© Josh WinkThe second in Josh Wink’s ‘607 Sessions’ digs down deep into his old DAT tapes and unearths a record originally produced way back in 1993 that never saw the light of day, until now…

As Josh Wink continues a wave of renewed chart momentum and heavyweight DJ backing in 2026, he now unveils a deeply personal and long-anticipated release: “Let Yourself Go On,” arriving as Volume 2 in his 607 Sessions series on Ovum Recordings.

The release lands at a pivotal moment. Marco Faraone’s rework of Wink’s seminal Size 9 classic “I’m Ready” recently broke into the Beatport Peak Time Techno Top 10, reaffirming his continued relevance on contemporary dance floors. Meanwhile, his forthcoming Ovum single “Let Yourself Go” (OVM337, out March 6) is already generating exceptional early DJ support across the global house and techno spectrum.

Among those championing the new material are Nicole Moudaber, Tania Vulcano (Circoloco), Marco Faraone, Laurent Garnier, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Chris Liebing, Sasha, Danny Tenaglia, Paco Osuna, Stacey Pullen, Gerd Janson, Jerome Sydenham, Damian Lazarus, and many more, underscoring Wink’s rare ability to resonate across generations and stylistic lanes.
But “Let Yourself Go On” tells a deeper story.

Originally produced between 1993 and 1994, the track captures Josh at his most experimental, immersed in pure wild-pitch exploration during a formative moment in underground dance music. Built around hypnotic vocal manipulation, the record stretches and warps its core phrase into a slow-burning, tension-building crescendo that feels both raw and forward-thinking. Minimal yet emotionally charged, it’s Wink at his instinctive best.

Long rumored and frequently requested, the track was presumed lost for years until Josh rediscovered the original DAT while clearing out a storage space. Once unearthed, it was carefully remastered by Arnold at CALYX Mastering, preserving its grit and character while giving it the clarity and weight required for modern systems. The result feels remarkably current-proof that truly innovative ideas never expire.

Still uncertain about releasing it, Josh shared the track privately with longtime friend Carl Cox, who quickly settled the debate. “Let Yourself Go On” became one of the standout IDs from Carl’s UNVRS nights and a defining anthem throughout last season’s residency-igniting dance floors worldwide without ever being officially available.

Now, after decades in limbo and years of anticipation, the record finally sees a proper release.
