One label we thought was lost to the dance archives has been reborn for 2024 and not only the main label but a sub label which aims to deliver the finest progressive sounds trance has to offer...
We have seen lots of labels and dance music brands go over the years and never come back but we have also seen a few welcome returns of names once lost return in recent years. The world of trance is one which Breathemusic delivered to the finest degree over 10 years ago but since their last official release in 2015 they have been dormant. The label had its first release all the way back in 2005 and I remember we supported and enjoyed their early offerings on the pages. The heads behind the label were Christian Stein and Tino Hufeld based in Germany. They are started off as ‘Breeze Records’ but made the change to Breathmusic in 2007 due to a clash with a company using the same name.
The original founders of the label Tino and Christian are both at the head of the rebirth of the label, I’m not sure what they have been doing for the past 9 years but one thing is they have not lost their passion for music. They were active on the socials teasing a return at the back end of last year and on the first day of the new one we have the first snippets of their first releases for over nearly a decade.
One of the first releases is a suitable titled called ‘Reborn’ from in label artists Dark Moon and Bluefire. The second of the first releases introduces a brand new sub label called ‘Flavour’ for which Dark Moon dives into the progressive sounds for a track called ‘etheria’. I’ve put the video of each below for you to check out, they both sound fantastic. I’m sure it won’t be long before an announcement on when these new tracks will be released but one thing for now is its brilliant to see Breathemusic back in business. We wish them all the success for 2024 and beyond!
