When you think of long running compilation series within the world of dance music I’m sure Global Underground would be one on your shortlist. Their flagship city themed mix compilation has been around for nearly three decades and has been all over the world featuring a vast array of sounds from the biggest names in the industry. It’s a compilation series which is about to knock up its 45^th release this November.

The previous 44 have had all sorts of electronic sounds featured with the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren and the late Tony De Vit mixing together their blend of very fine music for this legendary mix series. The brand new edition turns to another legendary name in dance music with Danny Tenaglia at the controls for his city themed Brooklyn edition.

It’s going top be one of the most extensive releases so far with a double CD edition and a three colour triple LP release. There will also be a very special collector’s edition featuring both the CD & Vinyl as wells as a few exclusive materials which include art prints, postcards and a photo book from photographer Dean Belcher of images from the city.
