2009 is not quite done yet as there is still time for a retrospective look back at the music that made the last year such a good one. Paul van Dyk's weekly VONYC Sessions is one of the best electronic dance music shows you can tune into with a vast selection of styles from all corners of the scene. House, trance and techno are all covered from Paul as he selects the very latest electronic gems each week with a spotlight interview guest dropping in with an exclusive mix. He's had the likes of Nick Warren, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Activa, Austin Leeds and Ferry Corsten pop in throughout 2009 dropping some outstanding music along the way.

The 2009 VONYC Sessions awards were started at the beginning of December and have been casting your votes to your favourites records played on the show over the past year. Not only that but also your favourite spotlight guest and your most in demand spotlight guest who you would most like to see pop in for a future edition.

The top ten records have been counted and here's the rundown:
