History:
Acute Recordings was founded by NYC DJ/producer Jason Jollins in May of 2002. With the birth of computer generated virtual production gear along with the fast growing global love for electronic music, there is a new generation of young, cutting edge, and extremely talented producers who are the future leaders of electronic dance music.
Acute's mission is to give worldwide exposure to these up and coming artists while at the same time releasing top quality dj oriented music. Focusing on various styles of house music; each Acute release will feature a specific artist and is intended to show that artists diversity.
Considered to be one of the top progressive house labels coming out of the United States, Acute releases have graced the charts of many of the worlds top talent including #1 charted releases on the prestigious balance record pool, #1 charted releases on edmdigital.com, 3beat digital, and beatport.com; with releases creating buzz in several magazines and online media sources.
