The very latest interview on Muzik Xpress talks to Yves Deruyter on the eve of the 30th anniversary of ‘The House of House’ a legendary track from a project Yves was involved in called Cherrymoon Trax…
The history of dance music is one which intrigues me very much; learning about where all these artists and sounds they created years ago actually came from. The interview series from Muzik Xpress has covered the stories behind many of the classic records which shaped today’s dance music direct from the people who produced it. It is well worth your time looking back over the past few years at all the interviews Twan has done on the channel and discover a few things you never knew about your favourite tracks.
This past week he released his latest interview where he sat down with Yves Deruyter to discuss one of the tracks released under the ‘Cherrymoon Trax’ alias he was involved in along side Axel Stephenson and Franky Kloeck. The track in question is ‘The House of House’ and Yves goes on to tall about how the track came about, what influenced its production and what his own involvement was in making the track. It’s a great insight into the history of the record as its approaches its 30th anniversary.
