Activa Presents The Expanded Origins

Last year was a great year for Activa with the rebirth of his label Borderline and the quite simply stunning music that came from it. The year before was just as good as Activa brought us his third artist album in the form of ‘Origins’, It had been a very long time since his last artist release before that as ‘To The Point’ came out in 2011 with a remixed edition the year after.

It may be more than a year but that trend looks set to continue from his latest artist album as this week he announced a very special expanded edition. The release will feature all of the album tracks in extended form as well as tracks from the album remixed and remade from some very talented artists.

There are a total of 27 tracks featured on the expanded edition with Cold Blue, John O’Callaghan, Marcos, Protoculture just to pick a few out offering their take on Activas already superb beat arrangements. From what I have found so far this may just be a digital only release, it would be nice to have a Vinyl or CD but due to the limitations of the media it would need more than just the one disc to fit all this on.

Even without something to put next to the original album in the dance archive this release looks down right essential. The full tracklist is right below and the link to pre-order it below that.
