Grotesque Music is the music label of party organizer Grotesque. Head of A&R are Ram Boon and trance guru Geert Huinink. With two more sub labels in the pipeline this is going to be a huge year for them, no doubt!
The original tracks saw it’s release last year in July on Black Hole Recordings and on RAM’s debut album ‘Forever Love’, and now, a year later, trance icon Sean Tyas and the ‘rising star’ Dimension is brought in to deliver some cool remixes!
Just leave it to Sean Tyas to give the production a remix is without a doubt an incredible uplifting boost! As expected Tyas’ remix oozes with energy and power from start until finish, and you are in for a real solid treat here, where you will get to hear a master at work. The production quality is spot on as usual from Sean. The buildup will makes you hungry for a big climax and more, and damn right that’s happening after a stunning break down with a powerful riff. Heaven! You know you are listening to a winner, if you almost instantly want to put your hands in the air and just let the melody speak for itself. So get those hands in the air, mine is for sure! Uplifting Trance at it’s very very best. Stunning work by Sean Tyas!
Dimension also steps in on ‘Elijah’ with a superb remix. While Sean goes full throttle and speed, Dimension delivers a more ‘laidback’ and cool underground sounding progressive remix. He builds it up with some cool and driving chords and melodies, along with some slamming bassline kicks and uplifting strings/fx’s. Just like the older Coldharbour sound. In the break we’re introduced to some really thrilling strings/violin synths, and some acid sounding synths as well, all morphed together in a heavenly and beautiful production I think! Also a heavy and solid remix of ‘Elijah’, that surely will suit the progressive minded people.
Conclusion:
2 very solid remixes here from Sean and Dimension, giving and showing us their special and distinctive sound in best possible way in my opinion.
