The very latest in underground trance from the Pharmacy Music group this week is a collaboration between Nicholson and Splattered Implant who bring the follow up to 'Twisted' with an acid psy trip they think is 'Outta Control'...
It’s always better when you put your heads together. For the very latest banging beat to come from Christopher Lawrence’s Pharmacy music label the pair of Splattered Implant and Nicholson and done just that. Who are these two trance producers you may ask? Splattered Imprint is a guy called Brett Wood from the south of England who describes his musical genre as ‘Weird Shit’, I’d challenge him to that and describe as good. His partner in crime comes in the form of Nicholson, otherwise know as Carl. He has been a veteran of the hard trance scene for well over two decades and with his musical movement into the psy style has just cut down his brand name to simply ‘Nicholson’.

What have these two come up with then? I’ll tell you, it’s a banging piece of acid fused psy trance with a thought provoking vocal snippet running through the track. It’s got a huge bassline running wild through the track and some wicked acid riffs whipping in over the top of it. This is one very full on trance record, not one of those who like to wave a candle in the air but one for those who like to set fire to things with it. There is a slight rest bite from the banging stuff with a very creative breakbeat break down, which drops the vocal in and builds back into nicely done hook. The acid lines are never far faded out and soon get whipped back into the track.
Conclusion:
This is the first real tune I've checked out from these pair as a collective. Nicholson's new sound direction, experience and passion for a good beat matches up perfectly with Splattered Implant fresh sounding production style. This one is for those who like there acid banging off every wall possible, check it out.
