 It's a welcome return for Paul Oakenfold at Radio 1 as he takes control of the world famous 'Essential mix' later tonight with an exclusive 'Fluorescence' mix...
While Radio 1 seem to have ditched every decent dance act on their roaster over the past few years one piece of the furniture that is built into the foundations is the legendary Essential Mix. Over the past decade and then some only the world’s finest electronic artists have steeped up to provide two hours of scintillating dance music. Their guest later tonight has already been on of the artist’s that has set the mix alight and he is set to light the fire once again. Paul Oakenfold is back on Radio 1 and it’s a show not to be missed as he presents his ‘Fluorescence’ mix which will be two hours of full on underground trance Oakie style. The tunes start spinning at 1am and if you do miss it, shame on you if you do, catch it on the BBC Radio 1 site for the next seven days on the replay.
