With two artist albums down and an ever growing reputation as one of the biggest trance DJ's on the globe things are on the up for Russia's Bobina. His regular radio show flicked over to its 200th edition this past week and he will celebrate proper with a huge party at Avalon in Los Angeles this Friday night. No doubt you will hear his latest single in the mix if you’re out and about tomorrow night with ‘Quattro 372’. Read up on that and a few other Bobina gems this month right below.
Spin The (Other!) Vote - Top 100 DJs 2012 Opens Its Doors!
Oh yes. It's that time of year again. The sun is high in the sky. The mercury is starting to pop and we're all thinking bout festivals, Ibiza, big, BIG tunes (more of which below!) and of course Top 100 DJs polling! DJ Mag threw open the doors to their 2012 poll this week and voting for your fave spinner has begun in earnest!
Since hurtling into the poll at no.28 in 2008, Dima has made it 4 years on the trot inside the fabled top 100. He'd very much like to make it 5! So if you've felt the floor move to a Bobina performance or production and felt like popping his name in one of your voting boxes, well he'd be super-grateful.

Bobina 'Quattro 372' Original & Remixes – Out Now
'Quattro 372' - Bobina's ready-to-roar, summer anthem in the making - has rolled out of the studio and ready to tear it up, across floors around the world! The nitrous-fuelled Original Mix utilizes big, hammering (and hyper-infectious) piano lines, crowd-cranking sirens, whooping FX and amphetamised bass and beats to create a house/trance/callitwhateveryawant EDM slammer! Lighting up floors from Manchester to Moscow, in its Original form, it's out now and available through the Magik Muzik imprint. Bobina Set To Rock Global Gathering Russia
At the end of this month Global Gathering's 2012 events kick off their six gig run with a blow-out in Belarus. Less than a month later Russia will get its turn as on the 21st of July Global Gathering will touch down in Bobina's motherland. Dmitry is at this moment readying himself for what will be one of his gigs of the summer, which takes place in at the new venue in St Petersberg.
The tunes are locked, the bass is loaded and the decks are set! Suffice to say if you're in Russia and anywhere else than Global Gathering in St. Petersberg on the 21st, you're going to be missing one of the nights of 2012. To avoid that grave injustice occuring, click here!

Elsewhere on the production front this month, Bobina has also been in collaboration mode. He's teamed up with chart-topping Russian pop band Vintage for the cheeky dance crossover track 'Ha-Ha-Ha'! The video for electro-tinged vocal smash has gone online and is a compulsive must-watch (having already clocked up a whacking 2 million views).
