The remix edition of compilations has been a firm occurrence any major artists release list after an artist offering and BT is to join in with a remix edition of his last album 'These Humble Machines'. His last artist album was superb blend of various electronic styles and highlighted the creative flair that BT has when putting together tracks. It's an album he worked and collaborated on with a few other artists but the BT influence was always there to hear.
The remix edition is a real treat with a two disc and a very limited edition three disc available. Spread over the two discs which will be released on Black Hole Recordings are remixes from Ferry Corsten, Mr Sam, Josh Gabriel, Armin van Buuren, Breakfast and the progressive uplifting tones of Adam K & Soha as they remix 'Rose of Jericho'. A BT track would not be complete without a remix from another electronic legend with Chicane who remix 'Always'. I would think you may have heard a few of these remixes on the radio and out and about on the road in the clubs over the past few months and if you've forgot what the original's were like its the perfect time to re-visit them.
The remix artist album is here to stay but this one I can say I'm anticipating to be a corker with the lineup of talent on duty. It's out at the start of next week on Black Hole Recordings!
