© Silk Royal RecordsOne of the most refreshing and exciting labels on the progressive circuit Silk Royal are about to debut their 'Silk Royal Showcase' compilation the beginning of next month with Tom Fall and label owner Jacob Henry providing the audio...

If I were to highlight one label relatively new to the scene last year really impressed me then without a doubt Silk Royal would top the list. There philosophy is a simple one in bringing fresh new electronic music to the masses but their style is one blended between progressive house and trance. They are without question a progressive label to keep an eye on with artistic talent like Matt Lange, Jacob Henry, Schodt and Tom Fall just a few on their books filling the scene with some gorgeous music. The Silk Royal Showcase is the labels weekly radio show which drops the very latest in progressive from the label and its weekly guests who drop in with a mix of their own. It's time for the next step in the showcase for Silk with the move to a double disc compilation.

It's been in the making since the middle of last year and now it is finally ready to be unveiled to the world. We may just be dropping an online exclusive of this and could not be happier as the compilation is looking to be an enchanting musical beats not to be missed. The two men at the helm of this progressive orgy is Silk artist Tom Fall, a Finnish talent who has had a few release on the label to date with 'Dive' and 'Reflections'. The second is Silk Royal's chief in command Jacob Henry, a very talented producer and DJ who is based over in America. Jacob takes command of the label's weekly radio show and has had Tom Fall guest spot quite a few times in its history. Now they join together to bring an audio snapshot of what the showcase is all about. Expect to find two mixes full of beautifully crafted progressive and uplifting tracks with ten exclusive and unreleased records expertly blended with the current cream of the crop the guys have at their disposal.

One half of the compilation showcase Tom Fall announced the album on the Silk Royal YouTube channel this past Friday and launched a competition for you to win a signed copies of the compilation .All you have to do to drop you name in the hat for a chance to win a copy is answer these two questions:

:: What is the name of the very first Silk release that appeared on (parent label) Silk Digital Records?

:: What is your favorite Silk Royal Records release to date and why?

With the 20th release just notched up on Silk Royal Records label and the digital section having over 36 to date you've some very tasty progressive gems to pick from. Send your answer into silkroyalshowcase@gmail.com by the 23rd January and tune into the Silk Royal showcase on the 27th to find out if your one of the lucky winners as Silk will be hosting a very special compilation edition of the radio show.

It's going to be an essential album not just for progressive fans but those involved with other styles and the Silk brand does have a very diverse cross genre appeal. There is just something about their records that keep you going back for more. Keep peeled over the next week as there will be a very special preview of the new compilation on Silk Royal's YouTube channel and we will bring you that as soon as it's online. For now, take a look at the tracklist for the debut of Silk Royal's Showcase compilation.
