Filo & Peri Take Night Play To The Big Room

© Vandit The New York pair of Filo & Peri continues to enjoy great success on the dance scene, especially after the release of their last artist album on VANDIT last year. Now, they present to you the big room edition with lots of new mixes...

It may be surprising to know that Filo & Peri are nowhere to be found inside the DJ Mag Top 100, which closes for voting later this month. There will be a few who would suggest they certainly deserve to be after a very successful few years and the release of their super debut artist album 'Night Play' last year. They come from the big apple, New York and have taken in every inspiring feature of the huge metropolis to bring forward some smashing trance records. One which really pushed them into the spotlight was 'Anthem' which saw them turn to an old school friend Eric Lumiere for the vocal touch. Cue a few more big hitting singles and last year saw the debut of 'Night Play', their first ever artist LP. It was a very good one at that with tracks like ‘Off The Hook’ and ‘Ashley’ ringing the through sound systems all over the globe.

Their next full LP may be still in the making but the sequel to the original ‘Night Play’ has already arrived in the form of its ‘Big Room Sound Edition’. The ‘’Big Room Sound’ name is from their fortnightly podcast which will have already showcases many of the new tracks and remixes to be found on this release. It’s not just another remix album as they have bundled in a few brand new tracks the guys just could not squeeze onto the original. The remixes come in the form of some very big electronic talents with Starchaser, Ronski & Speed and two new mixes from Dresden And Johnston (You may remember Dresden from his collaboration’s with Josh Gabriel, well now he’s a new friend in a guy known as Johnston).

The new release comes from VANDIT, who since being partnered up with Armada have come to life with fresh new music thanks to the exposure and distribution a powerhouse like Armada can offer a label. It’s out right now.
