 The duo of W&W can do not wrong within the electronic dance music scene at the moment and to celebrate their recent rise to the top they have launched a brand new web site and have a new single out very soon...
They are fast becoming one of the biggest duo's in the land of trance and they have a lot going on this month with a brand new website and news of their forthcoming new single 'Alpha'. The new site looks great and provides even the mos demanded W&W stalker with all the information they could ever require. Their new single is not out yet but it should be out very soon through Armada's Captivating Sounds label. Oh, and for starters they would like your hand in a certain DJ Poll that kicked off this week.
Vote W&W In The DJ Mag 2010 Poll For A Brighter Trance Day!
DJ Magazine is once asking the planet's electronic dance music citizens who they think shines brightest and burns hottest behind a mixer and a pair of CDJs. The poll's ribbon was cut on Wednesday and this year you’ve got close to two months to make your mind up! In less than 3 years W&W have come out of nowhere to storm clubs, festivals and arenas with their Mach 10 sound. Two young men from the lowlands with a vision for the next trance decade… and the deck and studio skills to prosecute it! W&W Scoop Sunrise Festival Music Award
Last Friday at Poland’s grandstanding Sunrise Festival Willem & Ward were over the moon to pick up one of the festival’s most prestigious awards. They took home the Best Live Set of 2009 trophy and you can check out a photo of our Holland’s hottest trance duo (understandably!) grinning their way through the post-awards photo shoot here. On winning Willem said: “Sunrise was one of the first of the major festivals to get behind W&W and playing there in 2009 was an electrifying experience – one we’ll never forget!" W&W ‘Alpha’ – The New Single
It’s big, its tough… and it’s heading this way! The new W&W floor-crasher has been out and about and leaving elephantine-sized imprints on festival land... Armin used it to take Tomorrowland to pieces last weekend; the evidence of which you can check out through the all-seeing oracle that is YouTube! Release date details and remix specs are still under wraps, but you can get first word on them by checking back regularly on the new web portal.
Mainstage on AH.FM
Willem & Ward's Mainstage radio show is now coming at your fortnightly on the 2nd & 4th Monday, so there’s now twice as much to look forward to every month!). In and amongst the features (great competitions, Mainstage ID etc), you'll also now be able to vote in... Most Wanted! Through the fan forum you'll be able to pick your favourite track of the fortnight and vote on it. The winner will be duly crowned 'Most Wanted' on the following show. While you over there in the fan forum neck-of-the-woods don't forget to check out all the other great stuff that's going on. You can catch it between 18.00 & 19.00 CET on AH.FM.
