 For many it would be just a dream but thanks to Paul and VANDIT it could well be a reality. In association with the DJ Times Paul is hosting a competition for aspiring DJ's to play at the opening night of his huge gig in Miami which celebrates 10 years of Vandit records...
Paul van Dyk will be celebrating ten years of VANDIT records at this year's Miami winter music conference later on this month at Club Space. Spread over two nights he will be joined by Sander van Doorn, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Filo & Peri and you! Yes, you! How you may ask? Well, he is opening up the DJ booth and running a competition to find the DJ that will open up the night and kick off the celebrations for a label that has been one of most iconic in the last ten years. VANDIT records will be ten years old and over the past ten years the white and blue sleeves have welcomed the finest electronic dance music the scene has to offer. In 2008 the label launched its digital imprint which has notched up over 65 releases already.
The massive event will be taking place on the 26th and 27th of March during this years Miami winter music conference, a time where all the promoters, DJ's, media, clubbers, club owners and anyone involved within the dance music industry gather together to showcase the latest records, gear and talent. It's a place as a dance music fan you should really try to be as the worlds biggest EDM starts will be around over the course of the conference. Not to mention of course, the huge amount of parties catering for every dance music style you could think off.

It's the chance of a lifetime for any budding DJ and one you will regret if you don’t have a go as your winning mix could result in playing alongside the biggest electronic music name in the world, Paul van Dyk. To enter the contest all you have to do is construct together a 30 minute mix being as creative as you like and submit it Paul at the contest micro site. Simple as that!
The deadline for all entries is the 17th March and the lucky winner will be notified on the 22nd March.
