The sub labels under Be Yourself Music already have a few very successful compilations under their belts. High Contrast has the excellent 'High Contrast Presents' which has welcomed artists who release on the label to showcase their mixing skills through a double disc compilation. Big & Dirty records are the house music spin off label that have the likes of Benjamin Bates, Dada Life, Lazy Jay and Inpetto release their music on. It's a fair spread of different house styles but as the label's name would suggest they do like to bring you the dirtiest bass lines and beats they can get their hands on. They have sourced some very fine examples of that style of sound for their brand new compilation spread over two mixes.
It's not a DJ showcases but a compilation highlighting what the label is all about with a mixture of the hottest house cuts along with a few very well known tried and tested anthems from the house scene. The mixture of tracks in here has the likes of John Dalhback, Moguai, Fake Blood, Inpetto, Bates45, Hardwell and a house remix by Filthy Rich of Southside Spinners well known track 'Luvstruck'. It all looks very tidy and with 20 tracks per CD you have a lot of house jammed in there to enjoy.
