South Of The Border!
Kyau & Albert are currently down Mexico way... and in more ways than one! The country's most successful dance label Mucha Mas Musica are finally set to give a South American release to K & A's universally applauded 'Worldvibe' album. By happy coincidence the pair are also there themselves this weekend. The '10 Years of Euphonic' Tour jets into downtown Mexico City on Friday for a big night at the exclusive Mansion Club. From there it's on to Club Soleil in Guadalajara for Saturday's dose of deck-damaging neo-trance. If you're in Mexico this weekend (you lucky devils!), make sure you check them out.
Back In The Studio...
Steven & Ralph have been back, burning the midnight oil in the studio over the last few weeks writing fresh material. The work will provide the foundation blocks to their new, as yet untitled, artist album, which is due for release in the 3rd quarter of 2008. In addition to that, they've also been producing a follow-up single to the massive Marc Marberg collaboration 'Megashira'. 'How Do You Define Neo Trance?'
Seems to be the question you've most regularly been putting to Ralph & Steven over the last few months. Your not alone either! DJ Magazine recently interviewed them and asked them how they'd characterize it to the uninitiated? “We think the general idea is that its trance with influences of Tech House; merging the high-end minimal grooves with the emotional aspects of Trance. We personally try to keep a few uplifting moments in the arrangement too; in a nutshell: making-minimal-interesting-and-finally-musical!” was Ralph's precise explanation. So K & A fans, you can now dazzle your friends with your advanced neo trance knowledge!
Euphonic Sessions
The November edition of Kyau & Albert¹s Euphonic Sessions Show is online now. November's instalment streams direct from K & A's website at: kyauandalbert.com or alternatively you can hear it go out live on ETN:FM at 17:00 C.E.T., first Thursday of every month. Featuring huge new tunes from the likes of Joonas Hahmo, Ronski Speed, DT8 Project, DJ Remy, Markus Schulz & Andy Moor, it's not one to miss out on!
