 2005 is fast coming to an end, who takes up November 2005 on Radio 1's Legendary Essential Mix?
The Essential Mix is fast approaching its 13th year and it is famous worldwide for ground breaking live to airs, breaking new deejays in and letting the best of the world show their stuff by playing this great thing that we all love called Music. So after Matt Hardwick's EM from last week, here is what is up next (remember all times are GMT).
October 30th.2005 - Joey Negro
On the day before the scary Halloween, we are given the old skool funk alias of the one and only Dave Lee aka Joey Negro. Expect some funky stuff!
November 6th.2005 - M.A.N.D.Y
Another of Germany's export, made up of two friends Patrick Bodmer, Philipp Jung (Pat Bo and Phil Young are their deejay names). Their unique style and unique method of pushing their sounds on the world are gaining them more and more fans. Check out M.A.N.D.Y on the first weekend of November.
November 13th.2005 - Tom Novy
Germany continues to be a big influence on the Essential Mix in November 2005 with Tom Novy (best known for his Novy vs. Eniac alias).
November 20th - IE.MERG & C2C DMC World Champs
The 2005 winners of the famous DMC World Championships IE.Merg and C2C are given a 2 hr stretch to show their wares. It is always interesting to see how good the DMC competition has become in recent years after being dominated by Coldcut, Q-Bert and Mixmaster Mike and others.
November 27th.2005 - Rennie Pilgrem
After celebrating release 100 for his label TCR, the head honcho and godfather of UK Breaks gets another chance to show his skills. Rennie Pilgrem is truly larger than life, find out why!
