 Monster Tunes in association with Trance.nu brings you a massive remix competition that gives you the chance to get your music heard!
Monster Tunes is fast becoming one of the labels to watch, with releases from the likes of Alex M.O.R.P.H., Dyyni, Kuffdam & Plant, Fred Baker and Will Holland all lined up over the next few months. Soon your name could be included in the Monster stable with these already established artists…
Forthcoming on the Monster sub label Monster Force is the new tune from Brisky & Coleman – 'Heaven’s Tears'. The current Brisky production 'Celestial' is a no-nonsense trancer which has already found the front of the bag for Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk and Above & Beyond as well as hitting the top spot in Mixmag's August 2005 trance chart:
"Brisky can't seem to put a foot wrong at the moment and this beatific bosher gave us so many goosebumps, we looked like we had the plague. The melody is an Adagio-style slice of brilliance and the track simply builds around it. Sundawner do a fine job with their remix, but it's not a patch on the original. If this is what heaven sounds like, then beam me up St. Peter."
Building on the success of 'Celestial' will be 'Heaven's Tears', the follow up to Brisky & Coleman – Prototype 1 with release pencilled in for late 2005. Leading the way is a massive remix from Vandit and ID&T signed G&M Project, with the Original plus 2 winners from the remix competition also seeing a full vinyl release.
For your chance of winning simply download the MIDI file from the Monster website, then let your imagination run riot (the MIDI is deliberately simple to allow you maximum space to do whatever you want for your remix). Once your mix is finished, upload it (if you don't have web-space then use a website such as yousendit.com) and email the link to competition@monster-tunes.com. Closing date for entries is August 20th 2005. Please do not mail attached MP3s to this address!!!
Winning entries will feature on the 2 disc release of 'Heaven's Tears', with the possibility of future releases on the label. Every remix will be listened through by the Monster Tunes A&R team, and they will try and give feedback to everyone who enters. Good Luck!
