Karada's second production is receiving strong support from the likes of Les Hemstock, Marcel Woods, Jon O'Bir, Alex M.O.R.P.H., DJ Choose and Jose Amnesia among others. Lets take a look at this latest outing on KYR Records...

:: Karada - Walking On The Moon

1) Walking On The Moon (Original Mix)

The Original Mix of this track is a blend between a more proggy style of trance plus some defined melodic moments. A long section at the beginning gets you in the mood with a progression of beat, bass and interesting sfx. The long and self-developing, spacey sounding melody makes a solo appearance in the first break and continues after the track kicks back in, along with some new percussion which adds a good element of variation. Although the melody is played by quite a simple lead instrument, it is nice to listen to and is very well supported by the strength mainly of the kick and basslines. A lot of this tracks time is spent in breakdown territory, with big builds back into the melody-tinted proggy sections. A solid and intelligent piece.

2) Walking On The Moon (Genix Remix)
One of the UK's most prominent up and coming trance DJ / producer, Genix, steps up for the remix of 'Walking On The Moon'. Initially it seems like a calmer more subdued interpretation but you soon hear a soft and highly trancey synth playing some sneaky chords in the background. Big bass and spacey synths add more fuel to the fire as the track progresses with more and more different synthy touches making their mark. After about 3 or 4 minutes, a big trancey synth pushes out a strong melody to transform things from calm and subdued to strong trancey energy. The lead synth uses the melody to create peaks of energy with a select few powerful notes which makes it stand out in al the right places - nicely done.

Conclusion:
Another good release for KYR and another great effort from Belgian producer Karada. Karada's Original Mix is an interesting blend of progressive and melodic trance whilst Genix goes for the more classical trancey approach. Both are good, solid tracks.
