Israeli duo Moshic and Zidan hit back with their next release on Plastica.. 10@ZE follows suit to their earlier releases, making you wonder how deep and devastating these guys can go! Their own unique progressive style is really becoming a major part of the scene! check this out!
MOSHIC AND ZIDAN 10@ZE
A side: Original B side: Remix
A side:
From the outset Moshic and Zidan head into the depths of quality progressive. Weaving there way through some atmospheric synths and a mammoth driving bassline. minimal effects are used in conjunction with the rumbling elements. Only a male vox haunts a seperate intervals to add more feeling to the track. A fresh female harmony is joined lightening the track giving it more atmosphere and ambience. The bass dies and tension builds. Everything goes quiet and the male vox speaks something similar to "give me sound". The bass re-enters with more drive and depth than before. A few more tingling effects are added to fulfil the track. By this time it has you trapped in the groove it is trying to produce. Again the bass dies and teases you into a heightened chill. The atmosphere is dark and again the sound cuts to nothing, but for longer than the first time. A different bassline is added, it is without the humming effect, concentrating on pure drive. The track is at its most minimal form. Gradually edging back in each effect, the track begins to chugg again. The everpresent male vox bellows the humming effect. The track samples the synth yet again but for aonly a short period, leaving it to rll to a nice deep ending as it started!
B side:
The B side opts for a rather unusual beginning. It echoes muffled effects for a couple of phrases before entering the bassline. The bass is less heavy than the a side holding more of a "poppy" effect to it. Again the track is minimal, holding together simplistic sounds. It has a more tribal feel to it. Again the use of a vox, though different to the a side, creates the tension and the atmosphere for the track. A mini break provides the track to bring in more effects, making it become busy and energetic. It races through the mid way stage, keeping the vibe constant, not adding many layers. It has enough to keep it interesting and not boring. It is quality progressive. It builds and builds, not givong much away as to where it will lead. Tension grows slightly for the beginning of the break, easing out the bass to provide some smooth synths. The break leaves a shuffling effect and a mellow ambience to lead it to a storming bassline. The sense of the track has really risen to full on typical progressive sounds. It deep bassline and tribalesque feel become ebb through the last quarter with extra effects to wind amongst them. It dies to leave a minimal bassline to see it to the close.
