I had a hope, but today it's all lost somewhere. I'm not going to say to much about my view upon Bush and his policy but it's quite clear he hasn't done much to the Americans in general, and that tells me where the States are heading the next four years. As for the war; it's a scandale that the USA spends soooooooooo much money on the f****** unnecessary war, just to get hand on the Iraqi oil.... Mad

Shall I point out that most anti bush people live in Europe or the middle east and you did not vote for him because you could not and you are too weak minded to move to America and actually try to change things. How is it clear that he has not done anything for Americans, you don't live there, you don't know, quit making assumptions.

I only know of 2 people that voted for Bush... When you stop and think of how many people you actually know (especially when in college, like myself), two people isn't a whole lot. I, personally, can't see how he won fairly - especially with the Fahrenheit 9/11 movie and his terrible social reputation.

Many, many thousands of votes from U.S. military troops didn't even make it back here in time for the election, as they were 'mysteriously lost' and Bush didn't extend the legislation to prolong the ballot deadline (http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/nation/president/2004-10-29-military-vote_x.htm?csp=36). With as many funding cuts as Bush has made to the military, I'm pretty sure I know who they voted for...

I lived in Florida for several months this year and the general impression I got was negative toward Bush.

Im entitled to my opinion. Our television is plagues by the american news so in fact their actions are forcing us to form opinions and or assumptions...

I'm not American, I don't live in the States, but I know what politics is all about and I don't think Bush does what is the best for Americans in general (not just the rich ones then) and his foreign policy is also something I don't support! See my point? BTW: my view on Bush has nothing to do with what most Europeans think and such, I'm proud to say I'm not letting myself control by what others think, I could go throughly into what Bush has done for the USA and NOT done the previous presidency period, but I won't! Conspiracy? There is no conspiracy. Hence why I put a link to a news article - see? It's right there. What, need more?

Since USA is the most powerful nation in the world everyone's entitled to have an opinion on this election, as it actually leads to worldwide consequences when they decide to start a war without permission from the UN.

I think the Americans know for themselves if Bush is doing the "best" for them.
They certainly have a better idea than critics in other countries.
From a Canadian perspective, I don't know if his election was good for us or not. His economic policies have hurt us recently.
