Which artist, label or deejay has completely lost the plot and why do you think this has happened

Armin van Buuren: From Basic Instinct to the ASOT radio show.
Anjunabeats: Without formulas, this label would have collapsed.

Two of the biggest offenders right now.

Dont know anymore! Lol. Start disliking artists/djs and then they do something that makes me think twice... Tiesto's 'Heros' track for the Olympics this year is brilliant! Cool breaks track, with that old Tiesto energy... Armin's interview with [i:Vibes] totally redemed himself in my books and proved he still has love for what he does...

Solarstone (cant beleive I'm saying this) are producing shit trance with Scott Bond now and djing fast, meaningless, generic trance. What happened to the 'Solarcoaster' stuff I'm used to!? Just my opinion I guess...

M.I.K.E.

The awesome days of Deep Sonar, Silverbath, Plasma and The Legacy, to name a few, have led to the current state of affairs with M.I.K.E., which in my books isn't a very good state at all.

He maybe not be producing stuff of the same standard, however the tracks produced under his 'Active Sight' guise are really ace. So i'm gonna have to disagree with you there.

Didn't know he was Active Sight - but I didn't like the Search for Freedom - pretty formulatic.

I'll have to admit PVD has lost it, but i still love his music, his music brings asense of style that i just don't see in other artists.

I feel that Above & Beyond has lost the plot lately with their remixes they seem rather plain and boring recently

M.I.K.E. is def. one of the most predicable producers out there, I only like a couple of the tracks he has produced the last 2-3 years actually.

ASOT: I listen to it as good as every single week, dunno why really coz I'm fucking tired of the whole shit. Only 2-3 tracks I really like in each show. Armin is still one of my fav. DJs, but ASOT is just getting more and more boring these days Sad

Ferry Corsten: Even though he has changed his style both as a DJ and producer (which often is good), I don't like his productions anymore. Most of his tracks are just annoying and boring. I still hope his new project with Elles de Graaf and the new System F track make up for it.

Paul van Dyk: Don't like what he plays, don't like what he makes (produces) Rolling Eyes

For sure I'd say Above & Beyond.
Far From In Love was excellent. All the early Oceanlab tracks (Clear Blue Water, Sky Falls Down, Beautiful Together) were excellent. But the second A&B track, No One on Earth, was only okay and I didn't like Oceanlab - Satellite at all. I didn't like the production and I hate the vocals.
So they've definately gone down-hill.

Marksu Schulz. Why? IMO all his records sound the same. It was a cool sound the first time you heard him but after awhile it is just boring. I prefer Sasha over this wannbe.

Armin Van Buuren. Why? IMO all his records are cheesy trance. ASOT is an excellent example of shit new trance. This radio show is hurting his image greatly. He either needs to rethink a different show or cancel it. Sold out in 2004.

Tiesto. Why? He cant pick good records anymore. Hes done alot for the EDM scene and that I respect. But as a DJ he sucks. In 2003, he could pick some good uplifting trance, now he picks badly produced trance. Oh he also sold out in late 2003 .
