Out of all the dance records ever made, which ones would feature in your perfect set and what would the order be? Still pondering on this one myself.

The time limit for this set is 74 minutes.

Nah, not impossible. I think it's as complicated as you make it. For example it might be as simple as hearing all your favourite tunes back to back. Remember, it's YOUR dream set, no-one in the world ever has to hear it except you Very Happy

I'm pretty crappy at putting together tracks that sound good together.

I did think about that, but my opinion was that people will only have a select few firm favourites. However, having reevaluated this and realised that a lot of confusion still surrounds that issue I will put a time limit. Say the length of a CD - 74 minutes? Obviously tracks can play for as long as you like, so you don't have to pick 17 different songs if they're all gonna be playing for 6 minutes, for instance.

That's actually a lot more tough than you might think; there's so many great tracks from so many great styles that it's impossible to pick.

Mine would blatantly include:

Jose Amnesia - The Eternal (Pulser Remix)
Veracocha - Carte Blanche
Tiesto - Urban Train
Megamind - Taub (Picotto Mix)
Marco V - Godd (Original)
Cafe Del Marco
Marco V Vs. Jens - Loops and Things Relooped
Michael Splint Pres. Eruption - I Feel Free (DJ Choose & F's That Mucho Instrumental)

Not in that order.

Have to stop that list there because its lunchtime in 2 minutes and the net here at work is about to grind to a halt!!

ok, after ALOT of thinking, I finally tried to compile my idea for a CD. I may even try to actually mix this cd sometime this weekend.

Track Order

1. POB feat Patrick Reid - Bluebottle
2. Cass & Slide - Perception (Original Mix) maybe vocal mix
3. Amoeba Assassin - Rollercoaster (Oakey's Courtyard Mix)
4. Rico Soarez - TV Dinner
5. Solid Globe - Sahara (Markus Schulz Coldharbour Mix)
6. Veracocha - Carte Blanche (Original Mix)
7. Bedrock - Heaven Scent (Original Mix)
8. Solar Stone - Seven Cities (V-One's Living Cities Mix)

That should be somewhere close to the time limit, give or take some.

I could make a ton of my favorite dream sets though.
