Net Connectivity

I'm currently mulling around on the 56k lane at the moment due to a move to pastures new location wise.

Anyone else still on this age old form of net connection?

Pics must be a pain in the azz! We dont have very many services here that still use 56K...hi-speed has become so affordable...$20.00/month and you can be on hi-speed...I pay $45.00/month for 5 meg service and 1 meg upload...Canada ROCKS!

Thank God no, I remember the days of 56k I was at a mates house the other day i had forgotten how slow 56k is now i remember why WWW was known as the World Wide Wait.

Lol... Im glad I dont live in the Republic of Ireland anymore... where broadband is only available in VERY limited areas. Irish telephone companys are so shit its unbelievable!!!!!... Ill never live there again untill they get broadband properly! Lol Smile

I've got high-speed now, but sometimes I use a 56k connection so I can still appreciate what I've got.

No, luckily my roomates and I recently got a 100mbps connection after not having any connection at all for like three weeks after we moved in to our new place. Thank god for broadband.
