I always use Sony Professional Series: MDRV700DJ
I tried the pioneer but I still prefer the sony.... I know there are better headphones, but for the price of these ones you cant go wrong! The sound quality for the price is amazing!... Onyl €150 and the specs are higher than the pioneer ones which retail at €200 !

sennheiser HD250 II's...have used the sennheiser line for 10 years now...love there stuff...and I just learned a few weeks ago there made in Ireland.
Paid 250 US for these and they have been dropped, kicked, sat on,thrown (girl in booth) just about every thing you can imagine...and they still work and sound amazing...gonna get another set of ebay soon though...
Cheers
Eric

Best Headphones? Well that depends, you need headphones just for listening or Djing music or for monitoring your productions?
I suggest Beyerdynamic DT-880 for the second (better but in the same price as HD250, more or less)
or Beyerdynamic DT-990
The pair you have is nice but not flat (sounding), they sound too good to be truth.
So tell what kind of headphones do you need...
oh! and this baby
Grado RS1
it costs about £750
sennheiser are good but you asked for the best
