Im not sure as I've not dabbled in production but I'd say instead of using ones others use try and find a unique indivudual one, create your own style.

The 'Music production and promotion' board would probably be a more appropriate place to post that question. But anyway...
If you are, as I'm guessing, asking this because you want to rush out and buy it all here's my 50 cents...
I haven't as yet found anywhere with info on what Ferry Corsten uses. But the chances are that a big producer like him has a big studio with lots of kit he uses together to create his sound. Even if you were able to get your hands on enough cash to buy everything Ferry uses the chances of you being able to use the equipment in the same way he does are not great. Certainly buying one item that your favourite producer uses won't automatically ensure you get the desired sound. There are a lot of different effects units, synths etc... that are capable of making trancey effects and sounds. But the bottom line is that producing professional sounding dance music won't happen over night (unless you use a 'fast food' app like Ejay, and then although the sample sound pro-ish you have to be able to chose ones that work well together and arrange them properly). You'll need to hone your skills whatever you get.

| the reason I ask is because Moby set the world record for fastest song which is paced at 1,015 BPM. I havnt found any Drum Machine that can do that. If there are, tell me, and if he did it some other way, tell me that too!

The big one here is the Roland JP8080... I know for a fact thats what he used on his early 'Out of the Blue'. Its also been used on tracks like Faithless - Insomnia. As for now a days, hard to say, I'm not an expert on hardware synths as I can't afford any of them.
The JP8080 is a wonderful analog synth that will set you back about $1200 US... Other synths are more, some less.

I'll second this. Even if you had all the same equipment, a novice producer wouldn't be able to harness anywhere near the same sound quality as a master like Ferry. His evolution from his early days under the System F and Albion guises compared to his more recent work on Right of Way just go to show how much even a true talent like him can learn just through sheer hard work. Synths are frustrating and difficult instruments to work with... What I'd advise doing is buying a piece of software like Reason or FruityLoops, and learn how to use their relatively simple software synths, and once you've done all you can with software, move on to hardware. This will be a far more affordable test of whether you really have what it takes to produce.
