Matt Darey or Darren Tate?

Maybe it's just me, but I get these two mixed up sometimes.
Anyway, which is your favourite (bot h DJ-wise and production/remix wise?)

Can't say I get the two mixed up but I do like material from both of them.

I've not heard either one do a DJ set so Im going on production quality here and going for Matt Darey, he's done some cracking stuff.

I like them both alot but I have only recently heard Darren tates productions, almost all of them are quality tracks but The Theme and that one with Charlotte Church were real stinkers IMO.

Now MAtt Darey he has produced non-stop quality from Fornuna 2000 to From Russia with Love to his remix of Gabrielle - Rise. i can not fault him.

I my view Darren Tate produces quality trance track after quality trance track. Its as if making superb tunes are of no effort to him.

well its a tricky one, i really dunno, i prefere darren tate when he is darren tate with such tunes as let the light shine in and prayer for a god but he is a little cheesy as jurgen vries, if i can forget jurgen then il pick him............. Laughing

'Temptation' was an amazing track but nothing else I've heard by Matt Darey really sticks out. His melodies just don't cut it IMO. Darren Tate on the other hand, when he choses to make melodic tracks he comes out with good stuff every time.

ok, assuming that my life depended on it and I had to pick someone... I would probably pick Matt Darey, since I can't recall anything by Darren Tate off the top of my head. Where as I happen to know that Matt Darey did the Ibiza Euphoria mix CD.

but as i said ... not my genre... but i thought i'd participate anyway Smile

I don't really think there is an argument here. It has to be Matt Darey, for what he has done for trance ever since the early to mid nineties. He has produced choon after choon.
